M2 Naturals is a supplement company, and they needed an e-commerce website that submitted orders in to Limelight CRM. Unfortunately Limelight was designed for landing pages, and the only way to submit orders with more than one product was to write a custom shopping cart plug-in that submitted orders via the LimelightCRM API.
The e-commerce portions of the website are connected to the Limelight CRM API through a custom WordPress plug-in I developed. The plug-in features include Customer Accounts, Promo Codes, Recurring Billing, and a custom Transaction Log in the WordPress back-end.
PROMO CODES & DYNAMIC PRICING
The client wanted to be able to submit various types of Promo Codes that Limelight didn’t support, but fortunately Limelight supported dynamic pricing through their API. That required the WordPress plug-in to manually calculate discounts, and manually set discounted prices when the order got submitted to the LimelightCRM API at checkout.
ADVANCED CUSTOM FIELDS
All content on the product pages is easily managed through custom fields in the WordPress back-end, and all markup for the product pages is automatically generated using a single page template.
